The final 6 girls, which were placed in the group given to Dannii Minogue to work with for this season of “X Factor”, and the show’s crew were detained by security at a Dubai airport. The Bridgend teenager has been to London to try out for a role in the film, which is based on a novel by Swansea writer Joe Dunthorne.

X Factor sensation Lucie Jones missed a do to celebrate her TV success as she had promised to sing at a Golden Wedding party.

Her parents organised a get-together but trouper Lucie, 18, did the gig with her band John Oliver Live.

Last night Lucie, dubbed the new Avril Lavigne, played her final show with the band, in Leeds, and quit to pursue solo stardom.
